Daily Scripture Reflection February 1 Theme: The Foundation of Faith Scripture: Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Reflection: Faith is the foundation of our walk with God. It is not based on what we see but on our trust in God’s promises. Just as Abraham believed God and was counted righteous, we, too, must rely on His Word. Additional Scripture: Romans 10:17, Genesis 15:6 Prayer: Lord, strengthen my faith to trust in You even when I do not see the outcome. Amen. Bible Reading Plan: Genesis 1-3

Who is My Neighbor? The question "Who is my neighbor?" may seem simple at first, but it holds profound significance in the realms of ethics, spirituality, and human connection. The concept of "neighbor" extends far beyond geographical proximity; it embodies the relationships we share with others, rooted in compassion, kindness, and the shared responsibility we have for one another’s well-being. The Traditional Understanding In many traditional contexts, the term "neighbor" referred to someone who lived close by, perhaps even next door. Dealing With Jealousy: A Case Study of Cain and Abel “For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.” – James 3:16 Jealousy is one of the oldest and most destructive emotions known to mankind. It has led to conflicts, broken relationships, and even bloodshed. One of the most striking biblical accounts of jealousy is found in Genesis 4—the story of Cain and Abel. Through this narrative, we gain profound insight into the nature of jealousy, its consequences, and how we can overcome it. 1. Jealousy often arises when we perceive another person as having something we lack—whether it be favor, recognition...

The Gates of Time “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1 Time is one of God’s greatest gifts to humanity. It is the divine framework within which we live, move, and fulfill our purpose. The Bible is filled with references to time—its seasons, appointed moments, and the consequences of its use. Just as physical gates control access to places, the Gates of Time regulate our lives, opening and closing according to God’s will. 1. The Gate of Beginnings In Genesis 1:1, we see the ultimate beginning: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Every journey starts with an opening gate, a season of planting, and a divine opportunity. Just as the year begins with a fresh start, so does our walk with Christ when we accept Him as Lord and Savior (2 Corinthians 5:17). This gate represents newness, fresh anointing, and the promise of God’s plans. 2. The Gate of Waiting Many times, God calls us to wait upon Him ...
